With 21,520 visitors and 210 exhibitors, ARTOZA 2023 proved that it was, is and will be the trade show trusted by the largest supply and production companies in the Bakery and Confectionery industry, a great source of inspiration, a meeting place for the exchange of ideas and also a celebration of innovation.
ARTOZA, breaking every previous record of its own, came back strongly and gathered from March 3-6, a total of 21,520 professionals, in a four-day event rich in commercial contacts and agreements, as well as parallel educational events. The thousands of professionals from every corner of the country flooded the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center, making everyone talk about an unprecedented visitor triumph! In an enthusiastic atmosphere and maintaining an unprecedented pulse that did not diminish for a moment throughout its duration, ARTOZA was once again the leading trade event of the year, creating, by general admission of exhibitors and visitors, a climate of hope, perspective and optimism for the future.
The participation of 210 companies, among the most important in the supply market of the sector, proves, once again, their long-term commitment to the country’s leading Bakery and Confectionery exhibition. The business oriented visitors who passed through the gates of the exhibition center on all 4 days, expressed their absolute satisfaction with the variety and quality of the exhibits. At the same time, they were particularly impressed by the original ideas and interesting proposals presented at the special events. It is worth noting that many professionals were owners and executives from hotel units and cafes, who visited this year’s event and were impressed by the range of options offered to them for every need of their business, but also for many different budgets. At the same time, the sector demonstrated its long-term support for ARTOZA with the Bakers’ Unions of Magnesia, Larissa, Messinia, Trikala and the Confectioners’ Unions of Xanthi, Komotini, Kavala, as well as the Confectioners’ Association of Imathia & Kozani, Volos visiting the exhibition en masse. Exhibitors and visitors met and laid solid foundations for new profitable commercial collaborations, while at the same time both declared themselves excited by the level of the organization and completely satisfied with its commercial efficiency.
185 Hosted Buyers visited the trade show
As part of ARTOZA 2023’s extroversion, the organizing company attracted 185 hosted buyers from target markets, whom during all four days of the exhibition, held more than 3,000 planned b2b meetings with exhibitors. Thus, many companies that aimed to expand their business activities outside the Greek borders managed to meet key buyers from all over the world under the same roof, which shows the exhibition’s potential for further internationalization in the future. It is worth noting that the 185 hosted buyers of the program came from markets – targets from all over the world such as Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan but also from European countries such as: Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Albania, Moldova etc. In fact, the 150 most important owners and executives of production units, bakeries & pastry shops in Albania visited the ARTOZA exhibition and had the opportunity to be in direct contact with the exhibitors and their products, in order to make commercial agreements, in the specially designed area of b2b meeting rooms.
A unique panorama of special events
ARTOZA’s special events were a great success for another year. The specially designed stages were packed every day from early in the morning, offering visitors valuable advice, knowledge, techniques, and ideas, but also presenting the new trends prevailing worldwide. For four days at the Masterclasses stage, leading bakers and confectioners from Greece and abroad presented innovative proposals for recipes and products, which can make a difference and boost the sales of a business. At the same time, renowned lecturers from various specialties and market executives, on the ARTOZA Lab stage, held a series of presentations and speeches about marketing and management. On the ARTOZA Lab stage, for the first time in their history, the Panhellenic Latte Art and Ibrik Championships were held by SCA Greece.
Meeting point for important players in the sector
The 18th ARTOZA was chosen by the Hellenic Bakers Federation to hold its Board of Directors meeting and the gathering of the presidents of the local unions. At the same time, the Board of Directors of the Federation of Professional Confectioners of Greece was held with the presence of many Presidents from the Unions – members.
ARTOZA renew its appointment for 2025 and its 19th event with all the professional and the leading supply and production companies in the industry.
