Τhousands of visitors at ARTOZA 2019

After two years of waiting, ARTOZA returned and gathered from 22-25 February, at Metropolitan Expo, thousands of professional visitors from bakery and pastry sectors.

The meteorologists’ forecasts were not encouraging, but they were not enough to influence the 40.000 visitors from 19,604 businesses, who honored the 16th ARTOZA. Based on official data, there has been an impressive increase in professional visitors of around 20% compared to the 2017 event. What also automatically means increasing market dynamics and seeking new trade agreements. It is worth mentioning that the 52% came from the region of Attica and the 48% from the province. A fact that was positively commented by the 270 exhibitors who saw their impressive stands constantly filled with potential partners.

On the other hand, industry professionals who visited ARTOZA 2019 in order to make their market research before proceeding with a new business deal had to choose between a huge variety of quality exhibits. It is worth noting that in this great industry’s event, professionals came from every corner of the country. A special element has also been the presence of well-known and experienced chefs from abroad at many of the exhibition stands, who shared their knowledge and fascinated with their techniques.

Impressive reviews from guests

The visitor’s opinion is always important, both in the final account and in the future benefits of the organizing company. In this context, the Innovative Digital Self-Measurement Private Public Review system was implemented, with more than 5,000 people voting on the special machines that were housed in halls and special events. The results were essentially a great vindication both for ARTOZA’s organizing team and for exhibitors. An impressive 94% of the visitors rewarded the exhibition for its high organizational level and exhibitors for the rich and imaginative content of their stands. Even higher were the public’s review of the special events in Business Lab and Masterclasses where the positive votes exceeded 96%!

The participation of 270 companies, the most important suppliers of the sector, proves once again their long-standing commitment to the country’s leading bakery and confectionery exhibition. A report giant thanks to the excellent cooperation of a company organizer-trade union and market players, being a superb, unique example of a match between private initiative and trade union structures. At the 16th ARTOZA participated in leading companies from every category that are of direct interest to the modern professional – bakery, confectionery and ice cream materials, pastries, dough products and chocolate products, bakery, confectionery and ice cream machines, furnishing – shop equipment, packaging and decoration.

Meeting point and for key players in the industry

The 16th ARTOZA was chosen by PETET (Panhellenic Association of Food Technologists) to hold a workshop to analyze the new trends and the current challenges of the sector. At the same time, The Annual Meeting of the Presidents of the Hellenic Federation of Bakers and the General Assembly of the Greek Pastry Professionals’ Federation again were held in ARTOZA, sealing the unquestionable and excellent historical ties of the two federations with the exhibition.

Special events attracted the attention of the visitors

Numerous side events accompanied the 16th ΑRTOZA 2019, all of which had been designed to highlight the modern range of the products, trends and services available to today’s bakers and confectioners, both in terms of creation and know-how, as well as in the organization, management and upgrading of their business.
