OAE & OEZE together and strong in ARTOZA!

The Annual Meeting of the Presidents of the Hellenic Federation of Bakers and the General Assembly of the Greek Pastry Professionals’ Federation again were held in ARTOZA, sealing the unquestionable and excellent historical ties of the two federations with the exhibition.

Once again, ARTOZA hosted the annual meeting of the presidents of the Hellenic Federation of Bakers, as well as the General Assembly of the Hellenic Pastry Professionals’ Federation.

Important industry’ s topics under the microscope of the annual meeting of HBF Presidents

The annual Meeting of HBF Presidents, a standard of the exhibition, took place on Sunday morning at 10:30 in Hall C2 of the Metropolitan Expo, chaired by the Federation’ s president, Mr. Michael Mousios. Chairs of associations and union leaders from all over Greece expressed their positions, elaborate and debate on the issues that concern the industry today.

The main topics that were discussed, where specifically:
– Approval of issues discussed at previous meetings.
-Topics that concern the industry (information, discussion, decisions).
– Administrative decision of OMED concerning the terms of payment and working conditions of baker professionals in the country.
-Advertising proposals for the Bakery Industry.
-Proposals for finding financial resources.
-Financial report for the second half of 2018
Finally, the agenda also included brief speeches by the chairmen of the unions and submission of views and suggestions on the recommendation of the President of the HBF.

Significant issues of the HPPF were analyzed

At the same time, the General Assembly of the Hellenic Pastry Professionals’ Federation was held in the Business Lab seminar room in Hall 2, chaired by Mr. Giannis Glykos, President of the HPPF.

The main topics that were discussed, where specifically:
-A new law on allergens and what it imposes on the sale of food in shops.
-The new regulation on acrylamide, and the new EU limits, which will soon be clarified about its use and enforced.
-The control of coumarin, which will be the number on the list of fines in by The Hellenic Food Authority EFET for 2019.
-The financial report of 2018
-The financial budget for 2019
-The need to create new unions for coiling of the federation.
Both Federations have unbroken and excellent historical ties with ARTOZA, which they strengthen and seal with their strong institutional intervention and independent stands in the exhibition.
